Who’s taking part in the Sports Science Zone?

Let’s meet the scientists and schools taking part… The Scientists Stephanie Milward | Paralympic Athlete, British Swimming I am a Paralympic swimmer, I competed in Rio 2016 and won five medals, 2 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals!! Laura-Anne Furlong | Lecturer, Loughborough University Measuring muscle and tendon during sport using reflective dots and pictures of them from under your skin, to figure out why we move the way we do so one day we could be like Iron-Man! Katy Griggs | PhD Student, Loughborough University I look at new ways to keep Paralympic athletes cool so they don’t get too hot whilst playing “Murderball” (Wheelchair Rugby).
