• Question: Hi Stephanie me and my friend are competitive swimmers as well and we think this is very inspiring to us to keep pushing forward in our swimming career. We both swim in the mornings as well. What kind of food do you recommend eating on a daily basis? Thanks for your help.

      Hi!! Good luck for your swimming careers!! I would recommend eating a lot of protein because basically when you use your muscles to swim you break the muscle fibres and when the muscle rebuilds itself (using protein you have eaten or drank)it gets stronger with the effect of you getting faster!! You also need to eat carbohydrates to give you energy and power and fruit to help all your organs. If you struggle to eat in the morning before a swim a protein or whey drnk are a good idea!
