Question: Is there any other scientist in your family?

Yes, lots of my family work with science – my mum and dad both studied science at university before following other careers but my dad still uses science in his job. My brother studied Chemistry at Uni, my aunty is a Science teacher at a secondary school and my uncle teaches Physics at University. So I am from quite a scientific family I suppose…

Having said that, none of them really understand Physiology/Biology in much detail so when I talk to them about my work I still explain it like I would to a non-scientist!
