During my undergraduate degree I was first introduced to the area of thermal physiology, which I always found fascinating understanding how the human body works in extreme environments. Whilst undertaking my Masters I undertook a project in disability sport and I was hooked on learning about the Paralympic world. I then worked as a Research Assistant investigating smart clothing to predict body temperature responses. So when the opportunity came up to combine both my interests in thermal physiology and disability sport I jumped at the chance!
