      Hi Josh, thanks for your question!

      There are loads of great things about my job, my favourite training sessions at the moment are the longer water sessions. It is great to be outside on the water….maybe not so good when it is raining.

      My favourite thing to do during racing season is make graphs for each of my races to see where I slowed down, this helps me race better the next time! We use GPS to take the measurements. If you’d like to know more about this feel free to ask more!

      There are lots of great things about my job. I love learning new things and solving problems, I find that really rewarding. I also really enjoy teaching students what I know, and seeing them learning and being able to apply what they have learnt to problems that they are particularly interested in. It’s also very rewarding when you see the results of an experiment you have done having a real impact on someone’s life, be it helping them win a medal, helping them achieve something they didn’t think was possible like walk or run again, reducing the chance of them getting injured, or simply helping them to have a better quality of life.
