Robotics is a very exciting, new area of science which is focused on designing robotic arms, legs and even suits for people who may be missing an arm or a leg, but also for soldiers in battle to help them as they get tired. This work is now also being directed to help old people, who might not have enough strength to actually get themselves out of a chair for example, and for patients with Parkinsons or Multiple Sclerosis who need some help to be able to perform everyday tasks like walking.
