      Tricky one! I would have to say Jessica Ennis-Hill for being a phenomenally successful athlete but also a really positive role model.

      Wow, what a question. This is really difficult. I am going to be really cheeky and pick two if that is Ok, so hard to decide. In terms of ‘famous’ people that I have had the opportunity to meet I would have to say Boris Johnson, just because he really is as crazy as he comes across on the TV. My other choice though would someone you know less about (homework for you to go and read up on them), his name is Carl Lewis. He won 9 gold medals across 4 Olympic Games (1984-1996) and in one games won 4 gold’s (100m, 200m, 4x100m and the long jump). He was such a graceful and yet powerful runner, but for events which are associated with trash talking he was a real gentleman of the sport and understood his place in history.

      I’m going to say Charlotte Dujardin who is the current World and Olympic dressage champion, she has been hugely successful in the sport, has worked very hard to get there and is a great role model for young people. She comes across as a genuinely lovely person. I’m also a big fan of the comedian Adam Hills, I’ve met him once when I was ill and he was really nice, I didn’t realise who he was until afterwards.

      Hi Jamieleigh!

      This is one of the hardest questions I have been asked so far, I don’t think I can pick just one person….nobody is perfect…so here are my current top 3;

      1) Simone Biles, the American gymnast who was compared to being like other male athletes. Her response was “I’m not the next Usain Bolt, or the next Michael Phelps. I am the first Simone Biles.” As a young female athlete I was really pleased to see such a talented and prevalent figure stamping her authority on the sport and the media.

      2) Serena Williams, her success is impressive and given how long she has been competing at the very top of her game, I would love to be able to ask her for some tips!

      3) Liam Heath, who won a Gold medal in Rio in Sprint Kayak. This was a huge boost for our sport, and following on from the success of our other medals in Rio was the stand out performance for an individual athlete at the Lagoa in my opinion.

      This is a tricky one – but I would have to say Andy Murray. After numerous finals but always finishing second and then to go on to win numerous opens and now being number one in the world.
